Wilson's Promontory National Park - beaches

The rocks and beaches were an amazing feature of this park.

Happy rock and grumpy rock - can you see them?

Wilson's Promontory National Park - forests

It's been a dream of mine for many years to visit this national park. It's a huge park and it's absolutely teeming with wild life. I can't wait to visit here again soon.

The Great Ocean Road - the wild side

We started at the far end of the Great Ocean Road at Port Campbell and made our way to Melbourne. We decided that it was such a gorgeous day that we went up in a chopper!

Ewens Ponds - a wee bit chilly

We went snorkelling at Ewen's Ponds - it's a series of basins and channels fed by an underwater spring. It was so clear and beautiful but extremely cold! About 10 degrees!

Mt Gambier

We visited the lovely town of Mt. Gambier. Check out that blue lake! It's blue from Nov-April and grey the rest of the year.

Umpherston Sink Hole

South Australia

We stayed with my auntie and uncle at their lovely B&B in Adelaide (breakfast was divine!) and then started our Great Ocean Road trip. The South Australian limestone coast is beautiful and sunny even in late March.

Honeymoonies - Ko Samui, Thailand 31 Mar - 7 Apr 2007

We travelled overland from Railay to Ko Samui. This involved taking a long tail boat ride, a minivan, a bus, a ferry, a minivsn and a truck! It was quite an adventure and fantastic to see a bit more of the country. Ko Samui was very busy compared to the places that we had been staying at but this just meant we could do some tours and shopping! Two highlights were elephant trekking in the jungle and snorkelling in Ko Tao!
